Lakers: LeBron James Dominated High School Football

When you think of the Lakers’ LeBron James, you think of basketball greatness. You think of a three-time NBA Champion, a four-time MVP, and one of the greatest players to ever walk the court. But in high school, LeBron was also known for football dominance.

James took to Instagram to post a newspaper clipping of him donning a football uniform from his highschool days in Akron. And given that LeBron is close to seven feet tall, it makes sense that he would dominate any sport in high school.

James went on to talk about his ridiculous stat line in his Junior year of high school, and why he did not play his senior year.

60 reception, 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns my Junior year at WR. 😱.Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t. Didn’t even play my senior year(I wanted to so BADLY) because my boys wouldn’t let me.

As it turns out, LeBron’s buddies knew his future was in basketball. We think he might have made the right call on that! The Lakers and their fan base would certainly like to thank LBJ’s friends for not letting him play. LeBron has two more years remaining on his contract whenever this NBA season officially comes to an end.
