The aches and pains of Spring Training continue for the Dodgers as Cody Bellinger is scratched late. Manager Dave Roberts elaborated on the scratch as him dealing with side soreness that will just keep him out for a little bit. Could it have had something to do with his experience at Top Gold the night before?

Player assembled at Top Golf in Arizona for Albert Pujols’ charity event, and golf balls were indeed punished. After Mike Trout hit a ball that cleared the back netting, maybe Bellinger felt he needed to one-up him.
In regards to the soreness, Roberts says it is NOT related to his Top Golf adventures.
Roberts insists Bellinger’s injury is not a big deal and was unrelated to Bellinger’s participation in a Top Golf event Sunday night.

After watching him take those golf hacks, It sure looks like that would be the source of the soreness. As long as this is not oblique related, Bellinger should be fine moving forward. The Dodgers play in Goodyear today versus the Reds.
