Looks like the Bruins will be adding another weapon to their defense this upcoming season as former Alabama linebacker Ale Kaho has announced earlier today that he is transferring to UCLA for the 2021 season.
I know haters gon talk. But it’s koo cuz I know you’d do what’s best for you, If you were me too. God said he has better plans for me. Bigger dreams ….. KUT DA FAN ON🇹🇴🌴 #RealRENO pic.twitter.com/luUqHygmpy

Kaho spent the last three seasons playing for the Crimson Tide where he collected 33 tackles and three blocked kicks, including one that he ran back for a touchdown, in 40 games. Although he was never a starter for Alabama, he spent a considerable amount of time on special teams. It seems spending three years as a backup was enough for the Reno, Nevada native as he entered the NCAA transfer portal in February.
At first, Kaho had announced that he would be transferring to Utah, but he will now be spending his senior season with the Bruins. He was considered to be the 7th best inside linebacker in the 2018 recruiting class per 247Sports. UCLA has a history of sending linebackers to the NFL, so it isn’t crazy to think that’s the reason he ended up choosing the Bruins over the Utes. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t hurt to bring in an experienced defensive player such as Kaho.
