Rams News: Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey Named to 2021 Pro Bowl

Before the hiccup that was the loss to the lowly New York Jets, The Rams were having a strong all-around season. The defense has arguably been the best in the league this year and the offense, well it’s been hit or miss. However, there have been some standout players for the Rams this season who were deserving of a spot in the Pro Bowl.

As we all can see from this past week’s game, things don’t always go according to plan. Despite the team exceeding expectations this year, only defensive lineman Aaron Donald and cornerback Jalen Ramsey were recognized and name to the 2021 Pro Bowl.

Donald who is tied for the league lead with 12.5 sacks was selected to his seventh consecutive Pro Bowl. His selection is no surprise as he has been recognized as one of the best players in the league. Ramsey who is in his first full season with the Rams was selected to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl.

The NFL’s All-Star game was originally intended to take place on January 31, 2021, at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada. However, due to the restrictions caused by the Coronavirus, the event will be held virtually. The league is hoping that EA Sports, the creators of the game, can create a week-long event of games featuring the full rosters. Games will take place between celebrities, current players, NFL legends, and streamers. All games will be available to watch across multiple platforms.
