Lakers: Best Fan Reactions From Dominant Win Over Pelicans to Head Into All-Star Break

Wednesday night was a fun one for Laker fans.

The Los Angeles Lakers got a much-needed win to close out the first-half of the NBA season on Wednesday. The Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 120-102 in a wire-to-wire victory that had LA fans excited for the rest of the season.

The Lakers currently sit at 27-32 as the No. 13 seed in the Western Conference. However, they’re very close to sneaking into the top 10 seeds and a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

The win combined with the new lineup had LA fans dreaming big for the rest of the season. Here were some of the best reactions from Wednesday night’s performance.

Even the reporters see big things coming for this team.

D’Angelo Russell had his best performance since coming back to LA, putting in 21 points and adding seven assists. Fans shared their delight with him being back in the purple and gold.

Obviously it’s just one win, but it’s nice to see Laker fans excited again. This team showed a ton of promise in their win, and will have a full week off to continue to gel as a team and get ready for the final 23 games of the season.

Laker fans haven’t had much to cheer about this year. That looks like it’s finally changed. Thank you, Rob Pelinka.
