Lakers: NBA World Reacts to LeBron James Becoming All-Time Leading Scorer

Everyone is celebrating The King.

LeBron James is officially the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time list at the end of the third quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, on a fadeaway jumper from the free-throw line.

It didn’t take long for the NBA world to react, sending out congratulatory tweets to The King.

Let’s start with Laker legend Magic Johnson, who watched it happen live at the Arena.

Magic thinks LeBron’s record is going to be unbeatable.

Stephen Curry, someone who has faced LeBron a lot over the course of his career, was one of the first to get in on the congratulating.

Kevin Love, a longtime teammate and friend of LeBron, got in there pretty early, too.

Three more of LeBron’s former teammates, Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Dwight Howard, had some very nice words for their friend.

Another longtime friend, Chris Paul, had to congratulate LeBron on this incredible accomplishment.

Fred VanVleet, someone the Lakers have been linked to a lot over these last few weeks, summed his message up in two emojis.

Tyrese Haliburton, and up-and-coming star in the league, had some nice words for LeBron.

An NBA legend, Dirk Nowitzki, also had some nice words for James.

Karl-Anthony Towns was happy to be able to witness the greatness.

Jaylen Brown showed where he stands in the GOAT debate.

Of course, the team that drafted LeBron, the Cleveland Cavaliers, had to celebrate their King.

And his other former team, the Miami Heat, had a very nice tribute video.

The Lakers, of course, celebrated LeBron on Twitter, too.

There were a lot more tweets celebrating the King, so I definitely recommend you head over to Twitter to see the league (and the rest of the world) celebrate LeBron.

Congratulations again to LeBron on his historic night.
