Lakers News: Statuses Of LA’s 3 Priciest Players Updated Ahead Of Pelicans Game

Will LeBron, AD and Russ suit up?

You can breathe easy there, Lakers fans. Your Los Angeles Lakers will be relatively complete tonight, after all.

After news broke this morning that LA sixth man Russell Westbrook was dealing with a non-coronavirus ailment, speculation abounded on NBA Twitter that a Brodie deal may be imminent, perhaps one that sends the nine-time All-Star point guard to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Lakers All-NBA power forward LeBron James’s one-time Cleveland Cavaliers teammate, current All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving.

But that is apparently not the case. At least, not yet.

Per Brad Turner of The Los Angeles Times, Westbrook, James, and star center Anthony Davis are all set to suit up tonight as LA concludes its weeklong road trip in New Orleans against the spiraling and very beatable Pelicans.

Davis had been considered probable to play, as he continues to recuperate from the right foot stress injury that kept him sidelined for five-and-a-half weeks. James had been questionable due to that pesky sore left ankle that has now been dogging him for months.
