Lakers: LeBron Leads Early All-Star Voting in the West, Anthony Davis Comes in Fourth

With word coming Thursday morning that the NBA would indeed go forward with an All-Star Game on March 7th, the first round of voting results has come in.

It should come as no surprise that Lakers’ forward LeBron James leads all vote-getters in the Western Conference with the monster season that he is putting together.

James is having another stellar season, averaging 25 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game while also averaging the lowest total minutes of his career. His level of play is only more impressive given that this is now his 18th season in the NBA.

His teammate, Anthony Davis, garnered the 4th most votes in the western frontcourt, showcasing the star power that has been present in Los Angeles this year.

With the All-Star Game just over one month away, there is still much to figure out for the league to safely host their annual showcase of some of their biggest stars.
