Yup, you read that title correctly. Someone caught Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard maskless and decided to snitch on him. What the hell man?!
The NBA had set up an anonymous hotline that could be used for reporting any players who weren’t following the safety protocols set into place to protect each other from COVID-19 while at the “bubble” inside the Walt Disney World Resort.
Okay, a bit sketchy, but totally understandable on why it’s there.
On Wednesday, the Lakers center said that he was reported for not wearing a mask.

Howard was explaining to fans that he was outside his hotel room (alone) without a mask and someone had “snitched” on him for it. Come on Superman, just wear the darn mask man! I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he just simply forgot to put in on.. maybe. We’ve all done it, I know I have.
To make matters even weirder for Howard, the NBA provided players with a DJ to go listen to at a pool area within the bubble over the weekend, and no one showed up… except Howard. Awkward much?
Anthony Davis, on a Zoom call, on the DJ that was provided for players to listen to last night: “Dwight (Howard) told me he was the only one there”

Hopefully, things get better for Howard since arriving to the bubble. One thing I would love to find out is who was the person that told on Howard in the first place? We’ll never know for sure, but my money is someone from the Clippers (lol).
