Seager had been sidelined with an oblique injury for over two weeks before he was able to get back to the field at the end of last week.
Since returning, Seager has only been playing games on the Minor League side of camp, not yet getting into games with the Major League ball club. He started by DH-ing to test out his injured oblique; to which it was successful. He then was able to log in more at bats on the Minor League side just to get the feel of his swing back.
Over the last few days, Seager has been back to playing shortstop. On Monday afternoon, he played seven innings in the field and even hit a home run.
