The 25-year-old shared his reaction to the injury while speaking to the media at Camelback Ranch:
“It’s heartbreaking, you know? You put in a lot of time and work and, you know, you really enjoy the guys in the clubhouse. The hardest part is just not being able to be on the field for sure.”
The Dodgers confirmed not only an ACL tear but also an LCL strain in his right knee. He described how the ACL tear felt in the moment.
“I felt it kind of pop right away and the outside of my leg went numb. So kind of figured something wasn’t right. I’ve strained stuff before pulled stuff, so I definitely felt different so kind of knew right away.”

“I think when Dr. ElAttrache gets in there and takes a look at it we’ll know more, but I haven’t heard anything from that part of it yet.”
