Former Dodger Reliever Latches on With Minnesota Twins

The former Dodger farm hand heads to the AL Central.

One time Dodgers pitching prospect Dennis Santana has been on quite the adventure since last donning Dodger blue in 2021. After LA DFA’d the reliever, he was traded to the Texas Rangers where he struggled over parts of two seasons.

This past offseason, he was picked up off waivers by the Braves and before ever throwing a pitch for them he’s now been picked up by the Minnesota Twins.

In 134 games over parts of 5 seasons, Santana owns a 7-14 record with an unsightly 5.12 ERA. His best season came in 2021 with Texas when he had 3.63 ERA over 39.2 innings.
