Manny Machado is back off the market before he was back on the market.
The Padres and Manny Machado have agreed on a contract extension that will keep him in San Diego for the rest of his career. Dodgers fans who were hoping for a reunion or for Manny to get out of the division and sign else next offseason are sure to be disappointed.

Dodgers Nation asked fans their thoughts on Manny’s deal and the emotions range from shocked to disappointed to laughing at the Padres for being stuck with another monster contract for a player playing into their 40s.
The Padres will be paying Manny into his age 41 season. They’ll also be paying free agent import shortstop until he’s 40, ace right-hander Yu Darvish until he’s 41, Fernando Tatis Jr until he’s 35 (14-year deal).
