Dodgers: Maintenance is Underway on the Dodger Stadium Field

The field is getting set for the new year.

Baseball season is officially upon us, as the Los Angeles Dodgers are in Camelback Ranch for spring training.

So, with Dodger Stadium vacant for the next few weeks, it was time to get it ready for the 2023 season.

Over on Twitter, Dodgers Nation posted some pictures of the maintenance going on at the Chavez Ravine to get ready for the 2023 season.

There were thousands of people walking all over the field at FanFest a few weeks ago, so it makes sense the field needed to be redone ahead of the 2023 season. But Dodger fans should be very excited to see the finished product soon, as there’s no better look than the Dodger Stadium field on Opening Day.

The Dodgers will finally be playing baseball games in about a week, when they kick off spring training on Saturday, Feb. 25 against the Milwaukee Brewers. But it won’t be until March 26 when you can watch the Dodgers at Blue Heaven on Earth, when they welcome the Angels to town for the annual freeway series to close out spring training.

Then, on March 30, the Dodgers are opening the season at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
