Dodgers: Prospect Bobby Miller Causes a Stir at Spring Training

At Camelback Ranch, it was Miller Time.

When Bobby Miller is set to toe the rubber, it seems that’s big news for the Dodgers and beat writers. The Dodger top pitching prospect threw his first bullpen session of spring training and had a lot of eyes on him at Camelback Ranch.

Luckily, people were recording and now we all get to see the future star hurler doing his thing.

The Dodgers’ official account posted Bobby and fellow top pitching prospect Gavin Stove. Other media members focused on just Bobby.

Miller had a 4.25 ERA last season, reaching Triple-A for the first time in his pro career. Over parts of two seasons in the minors, he’s gone 9-9 with a 3.63 ERA over 41 games (37 starts). He was drafted in the first round — 29th pick overall — in the 2020 draft but that season the pandemic wiped out the minor league campaign.

Before going pro, Miller played college baseball at Louisville, where he was one of the top pitchers in the country.
