It’s really real.

Yes, Joe Davis took the time to move his personal Mookie Betts player profile from the Boston tab in his Microsoft OneNote notebook to the Dodgers tab. Importantly, “B for Betts” slots right next to “B for Bellinger” as the former league MVPs get set to form one of the most formidable duos in baseball.

Pleasing organizational skills aside, simple things like seeing the excitement of Betts’ future teammates as the news was breaking, or even menial admin work from Davis adds to the hype of an exciting time in Los Angeles.

It should be noted that the entirety of “The Booth Boys” has shared their enthusiasm for the new outfielder coming to Chavez Ravine in 2020. Dodgers stats man Rick Krajewski had this much to say:

Moreover, the Bulldog Orel Hershiser was complimentary of and eager to see David Price — the other part of the trade with Boston — making many of his starts on the west coast in NL West ballparks.

Exciting times are coming to Dodger Stadium this season! Get hyped!
