Dodgers: Cody Bellinger Receives NL MVP Award, Missing from FanFest

Obviously the cornerstone of the Los Angeles Dodgers among many superstars is NL MVP Cody Bellinger. Therefore, his absence at Dodgers’ FanFest on Saturday was felt.

Of course, Bellinger won his first Most Valuable Player award for his incredible age-23 season. Indeed, it made him one of the youngest MVP’s in NL history. On Saturday, Bellinger could not attend Dodgers’ Fanfest because he was in New York picking up his hardware. Have a look at that trophy that will most likely go on the shelf above Bellinger’s Playstation.

Still, Bellinger wanted to be there. He quickly tweeted a response from his official twitter account to the fans that turned out to celebrate his historic 2019 season. Have a look at that tweet right here:

Obviously, Bellinger would have been asked to go through his thoughts on the Houston Astros’ sign-stealing scandal that rocked the Dodgers organization and several others. Already, we have heard Bellinger’s thoughts on the matter.

Finally, the next time there is a big event at Dodger Stadium; Bellinger will likely be in attendance. Remember, he declined an invite to the 2019 Home Run Derby in Cleveland to rest up for the season’s second half. However, he said that he plans on doing the 2020 Home Run Derby which will be at Dodger Stadium.

You’re going to get your fill of your MVP soon, Dodgers fans. For those of you who missed Bellinger on Saturday, he’s on his way back to you in a short time. I think I speak for the majority in saying we all can’t wait for that to happen.
