Dodgers: Joc Pederson Shares Thoughts on Astros Cheating Scandal

As the allegations against the Houston Astros continue to pile up, there are no shortage of reactions from key baseball figures around the league.

The Dodgers have had quite a few people inside of the organization weigh in on the Houston sign stealing scandal including president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and closer Kenley Jansen. This time around, Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson has weighed in.

The outfielder was asked how he personally felt about the Astros scandal and how the other Dodgers players have reacted to the situation in recent days. Here was his response:

“There is a lot that has come out. It is really unfortunate. It brings back a really bad feeling to your stomach like when we lost.”

With recent details coming to light, there is no doubt that many current Dodgers who played in the 2017 World Series feel like they took a gut punch. It seemed to be such a hard fought and evenly matched World Series that went seven games, but these new details paint a much murkier picture.

While we wait for an official punishment to come down from the hands of MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, the Houston Astros will always have an asterisk next to their 2017 World Series title — and for good reason.
