Dodgers Reporter Alanna Rizzo Set to Host Event at Dodger Stadium

Spectrum SportsNet LA host and reporter Alanna Rizzo has been one of the best in the business when it comes to covering the Dodgers since joining the organization in 2014. While she spends most of her time with the club during the year, she’s not a one-trick pony. In fact, she has a passion project with a noble cause.

Last season, Rizzo founded Guidry’s Guardian to help “make a difference in every dog’s life.” The mission statement is simple:

It is our mission to greatly reduce the number of dogs on the streets and in shelters.

Noble indeed. Per its website, the charity helps provide “financial assistance to individuals and organizations helping with shelter, medical care, fostering and adoptive services for animals in need.”

One important note about the foundation is that it is powered by donations.

Now, Rizzo is offering up a special event in an effort to raise funds for Guidy’s Guardian.

Yes, Alanna will hosting a public event for women at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, January 26th, 2020. Moreover, the event mixes the reporter’s love for dogs with her in-depth knowledge of baseball to help women better understand how to score a baseball game.

For what it’s worth, she’s also an exceptional person to learn scorekeeping from.
