Dodgers Players and Organizational Members Thank Fans on Social Media

After the shell shock of a first round exodus, we all cope and deal with it differently. Moreover, it takes some of us more time than others to pull out of the bad place and resume a normal life.

On the topic of time, over the weekend, more and more players and personnel from the team began to take to social media to wrap their heads around the season, and give thanks to the people that make it possible — the fans.

Just wanted to say thank you to all my teammates & the entire Dodger Nation for welcoming me like family this season! Although the 2019 season came to an end much sooner than we expected, I can’t help but feel so grateful for all of these girls (and those not in our mirror selfie ?) that made this year such a memorable one. Here’s to another off season, and a chance to come back and win it all in 2020! ??????

Those crazy kids in the second picture certainly dreamed of a year like this. Actually they dreamed of a debut but a debut year like this was beyond their wildest dreams. It’s hard knowing this magical year is over. It’s hard to put all the ups and downs into words. I know I’ve said countless times this year how proud I am of you but seriously. The way you play this game, how you carry yourself on and off the field will always be what makes me most proud. From being drafted out of high school in a round that doesn’t even exist anymore, being told countless noes in the draft after your junior year, being a senior sign out of a “no name college”, never being on prospect lists until after a POTY season in AA and even then at the bottom of the lists to a Game 5 starter for the LA Dodgers in the NLDS. ? Thank you @dodgers for all the opportunities and memories. This team was special, and we’ll never forget and always treasure being a part of it.

More power to these fine people because on a personal note, Twittering has definitely felt off for me. At a time when we’re all still ready to be talking Dodger baseball and prepping for the suspense of the next game, we’re caught now hitting refresh and hoping for any sliver of news, or just plainly waiting til next year.
