Kenley Jansen seems to have had quite the birthday just a few days before the start of the Dodgers’ 2019 postseason.

The Dodgers’ closer, who recently recorded his 300th save with the team, turned 32 on Monday.
He also received a happy birthday wish from Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams.

Jansen Important for Dodgers in Playoffs
Jansen has been rather inconsistent, and at times completely unreliable, the past two seasons, but the Dodgers will likely need him at his best if they’re to capture the 2019 World Series title.
The unfortunate news is that he finished this regular season with his highest ERA ever at 3.71 and eight blown saves.
Time and time again, however, team manager Dave Roberts has stuck by his side as he’s struggled, especially over the last month.
Jansen did pitch three scoreless innings over the last week of the season, though. Dodgers fans can only hope he carries that type of momentum into October.
Hopefully his birthday also gave him an opportunity to relax before he enters what is sure to be a stressful postseason for the Dodgers.
