The Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers have updated their injury reports
The LA Clippers and Sacramento Kings are set to have a rematch of their historical contest in Los Angeles last week. The Clippers and Kings combined for the second-highest scoring game in NBA history on that night, and while this contest will likely not see the same offensive explosion, it should still be a fun one.
The Clippers and Kings have both made updates to their initial injury reports ahead of tip-off, with the Clippers downgrading Ivica Zubac to out, and the Kings upgrading De’Aaron Fox to available. Zubac will join a long list of Clippers on the injured list, as Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris, and Norman Powell have all been ruled out as well.
This latest update puts the Clippers down three starters, including their best player, as well as their sixth man for this game vs. Sacramento. Fresh off a bad loss to the shorthanded Golden State Warriors, the Clippers desperately need a bounce back effort. The Kings are a great team, and have great home court advantage, so the Clippers stealing a win would go a long way towards getting them back on track.
It will not be easy for the Clippers in this game, especially with Zubac being downgraded last minute, but they still have Paul George, Russell Westbrook, Terance Mann, and other players who have come up big at times this season.
