This is a must-win game for a healthy Clippers team.
The LA Clippers don’t have many games where they’re the healthier team in a matchup, but that’s exactly what the situation will be on Thursday night against the Warriors.
The Clippers will only be missing G League players: Brandon Boston Jr., Moussa Diabate, Jason Preston, and Keaton Wallace. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook will all be available for the LA Clippers. It remains to be seen which of the players will be available against the Sacramento Kings in the back-to-back.
The Warriors will still have a slew of players out against the Clippers. Steph Curry is out with a left superior tibia/fibula sprain, Andre Iguodala is out with right hip soreness, Gary Payton II is out with right adductor soreness, Ryan Rollins is out with right foot surgery, and Andrew Wiggins is out for personal reasons. Jordan Poole is probable with a left knee contusion.
This is the definition of a must-win game for the LA Clippers. The team is tied in the standings with the Golden State Warriors, and it’ll give them an advantage in a tiebreaker situation. The winner of this game will have sole possession of the 5th seed, and the loser will be tied with the 7th seed. The loser of this game will be dangerously close to a play-in spot. The Clippers and Warriors tipoff at 10:00 PM ET on Thursday night.
