Paul George Reacts to Clippers Beating Phoenix Suns

The LA Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 116-107

The LA Clippers picked up a victory in their final game before the All-Star break, defeating the Phoenix Suns by a final score of 116-107. It was a solid showing for Paul George, who helped shoulder much of the offensive load with Kawhi Leonard struggling.

After the game, George was asked about the state of the Clippers, and said that “We feel better. We feel better. The team is – at this point we’re healthy. We got new guys, fresh legs, fresh bodies… We’re going out and getting the job done.”

When asked about gaining chemistry with this new group, George said, “They’re pros. They’re all pros. Even Bones, he’s a good young player, but he’s mature. He understands the game, he understands what we need from him. Mature kid, really good kid… But all the guys, EG, Mason, they’re both pros, they’re great vets, so they’re gonna find a way within our system, our job is just to make it easy for them.

Finally, George was asked about the Western Conference, and said it’s gonna be tough. Echoing some of his previous statements, George added that everyone will have to wait and see how things play out, but there are no easy nights in the Western Conference.

With a solid showing in a big game, the Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns to enter the All-Star break on a high note.
