Last Minute LA Clippers vs Chicago Bulls Injury Report Update

The Clippers have some players upgraded and downgraded.

The LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls face off in a game that’s sneakily very important for the Clippers. While it’s still only January, the Clippers have a grueling stretch after this game and that’s why it’s so important.

Fortunately for the Clippers, they had both some players upgraded and downgraded for the game tonight.

Reggie Jackson (Achilles) and Robert Covington (personal reasons) were both upgraded from being questionable. Marcus Morris (rib contusion) has been downgraded to out. John Wall remains out for the Clippers with abdominal soreness. The most important thing for the Clippers is the fact that both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are playing.

The Chicago Bulls still have Lonzo Ball out with left knee surgery recovery, and Javonte Green out with right knee surgery. Derrick Jones Jr. is now available despite having a left ankle sprain, and Marko Simonovic is available despite having a right cervical strain.

After this game, the LA Clippers will have 13 straight games of facing playoff teams with winning records. It’s absolutely imperative that the Clippers can defeat a Chicago Bulls team with a losing record.

For Chicago, they’re half a game out of falling out of the play-in spot. They’re at a period of deciding whether or not they can make a run into a playoff spot, or whether it’s time to blow it up. Both the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors will be interesting teams to watch at the trade deadline.

The LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls face off at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST on January 31.
