The Clippers are looking for a road win in Chicago
The LA Clippers are about to begin what will be the NBA’s most difficult remaining schedule. It is a truly daunting stretch that the Clippers are stepping into, with Tuesday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls being their last game against a losing team until March 8th. Because of this, the Clippers must find a way to grab a win in Chicago.
The good news for LA, is that they will be close to full strength in this game vs. the Bulls. After resting several rotation players in Cleveland on Sunday, the Clippers will be getting Paul George and Kawhi Leonard back for this game in Chicago. Reggie Jackson, Robert Covington, and Marcus Morris are each listed as questionable, while John Wall is the only player who has been ruled out with an injury.
For Chicago, their injury report is mostly clean. Lonzo Ball and Javonte Green are out, while Derrick Jones Jr. and Marko Simonovic are both probable. There are no other names listed on the injury report for Chicago outside of Ball, Green, Jones, and Simonovic.
As previously mentioned, this is a very big game for the Clippers. A loss drops them from the 4th seed to the 7th seed, placing them behind Western Conference opponents who all have much easier remaining schedules. While the Bulls are not one of the league’s worst teams, they are the lightest opponent the Clippers will have in over a month, so a win is essential in this one.
