Full Injury Report: Clippers vs. Nuggets

The LA Clippers are looking for a road win vs. the Denver Nuggets

The LA Clippers are back on the road after just one game at home. The team returned home to face the Miami Heat after a long road trip, but are now back on the road again to face the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves on consecutive nights.

Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George traveled with the team on this two-game trip, and were initially listed as questionable by the Clippers on Wednesday morning. By Wednesday evening, Leonard was no longer listed on the injury report, indicating he had been upgraded from questionable to available; however, George remains with a questionable status.

It is hamstring discomfort that has George’s status uncertain for this game, and even if he plays, it will be very interesting to see how the Clippers monitor this back to back. Leonard will certainly only play one of the two games, meaning if he plays vs. Denver he will sit vs. Minnesota, but George has played back-to-backs when available this season. If his hamstring is less than 100%, the Clippers may opt to have George play just one of the two games on this trip.

As for others on the injury report, Nicolas Batum has been ruled out with an ankle sprain, which has in part led to the activation of G-League players Brandon Boston Jr. and Jason Preston. The Preston call-up is likely more related to John Wall only playing on of the two games on this back-to-back, but Boston Jr. could see some of Batum’s usual minutes.

As for Denver, they are missing only Collin Gillespie, Jeff Green, and Jack White. Their usual rotation will be mostly in-tact for this Western Conference showdown.
